How is it different from the daily word search?
- Bigger grid. 225 letters instead of 100.
- More words. Up to sixteen, drawn from two themes at once.
- Every direction. Words can run backwards, upwards and along all four diagonals.
How do you play?
Tap the first letter of a word, then its last letter. It does not matter which end you start from. A match turns green and the word is crossed off the list. Find every word to finish.
How do you find backwards words?
- Search for the last letter of each word, not just the first. A word ending in Y or K is easy to find this way.
- Read rows from right to left once. It feels odd, but backwards words jump out.
- Check all eight cells around a likely first letter before you move on.
- Cross off words in your head as you go. With two themes, it helps to sort the list by theme.
Is there a daily super puzzle?
Yes. Everyone gets the same big grid each day, separate from the regular daily word search. Unlimited gives you a fresh grid any time.
Who is it for?
Players who find standard word searches too quick. It takes most people ten to twenty minutes, so it suits a longer break. It works on a phone, but a tablet or computer makes the big grid easier to read.
