How do thirty two boards work?
Each guess you type goes onto all 32 boards at once. Every board has its own hidden word and its own colours, so the same guess can be green on one board and grey on the next. You have 37 guesses in total. A board locks as soon as you solve it, and your later guesses only count on the boards still open.
How many spare guesses do you really have?
Thirty two boards need thirty two solving guesses. That leaves just five guesses for everything else: openers, tests and mistakes. So every guess after the opening should be a word you think is the answer to some board.
A plan that works
- Use three openers with no shared letters. That spends three of your five spare guesses.
- Solve every board that is down to one possible word. These are free wins.
- For the rest, guess the word that could be the answer on one board and also splits the options on others.
- Keep your last two spare guesses for the end, when a few boards still have two or three possible words.
Why is the name so long?
It is built from Latin number words: duo means two and triginta means thirty. The four, eight and sixteen board games in this family are named the same way.
