How do you set up a game?
- Player one types a secret word of 3 to 15 letters. The box hides what you type.
- Add a clue if you like, such as an animal or a movie word.
- Tap Start the game and pass the device to player two.
- Player two guesses letters until they solve it or make six misses.
What makes a good secret word?
- Uncommon letters. Words with Y, K or V are harder than words full of E and S.
- Few vowels. RHYTHM and LYMPH have almost none, which makes the first guesses miss.
- Short can be hard. A four letter word gives fewer clues per right guess. JAZZ and FUZZ are classic tough picks.
- Play fair. Use real words your friend could know, and keep the clue honest.
How do you keep score between two players?
Take turns picking words. Each player scores one point for every word they solve. Or count misses: the player who used fewer misses over five rounds wins. A pencil and a scrap of paper is all you need.
Is it good for families and classrooms?
Yes. Kids love picking words to stump their parents, and it sneaks in spelling practice. In class, a teacher can type a word from the lesson and let the room guess together on a big screen.
Is the secret word saved anywhere?
No. The word stays on your device for that round only. Tap New word after a round to set up the next one.
